Simply Spectacular!

Firstly, we apologise for our lack of blog posts recently, we've been flat out with far too many projects to name!

We've had the busiest and best summer we could've wished for in our maiden year, playing lots of public and private engagements, carnivals, community events and weddings - all brought to a climax by performing at the annual Tenby Summer Spectacular, hosted by Tenby Round Table.

Historically the event is run by volunteers and with the support from local businesses it raises money for worthy causes.

This year, with thanks to everyone who donated, bought drinks from the bar, or ate a few burgers, your donations have helped raise over TEN THOUSAND POUNDS for local causes!

So, where did we fit into all this?

We were invited to play on the main stage in-between our friends Ella Guru and The Sleeping Dogs Band (check them out, they are both fantastic bands). The atmosphere was electric and the sardine-like crowd danced and sung like legends all night, it was amazing!

We had an outstanding introduction from Wales' No1 DJ Mr Steeeeeeve Briers, who also kept the event running like clockwork.

Massive shoutout to Kai and Adam from Outbreak Sound who were flawless in taking care of all the bands' sound, they certainly know their stuff and such lovely geezers to work with too!

Our good friend Jake at Jake Aldred Media captured the night superbly with stunning images, drone footage and video clips (see below) of our performance. We kicked off our first set with our own rendition of Dolly Parton's 9 to 5, which has become somewhat of our signature tune.

From the moment our rhythm section struck up the first few notes the crowd was already on their feet, dancing in front of the stage only a few metres away from us. And, what a crowd it was! They certainly showed their support and seemed to enjoy our choice of music for this event.

We proceeded with unique versions of songs by Meghan Trainor, Pato Bantam, Jesse J, Duffy, Jess Glynne, Journey, Rick Astley, Erasure, Elton John, Amy Winehouse and Fairground Attraction but nothing will be as memorable as playing our quirky arrangement of Toni Basil's 'Mickey'.

Oh My Goodness! The crowd went berserk singing and clapping to the catchy lyrics of a song that was released 42 years ago!

Before handing over the stage to The Sleeping Dogs Band we closed our set with Tina Turner's iconic tune and party favourite 'Proud Mary'. The view from the stage was breathtaking, with the sun setting over the harbour and hundreds of people taking part in synchronised dance moves to a chorus of "Rolling... Rolling... Rolling On A River". We will definitely remember this night for a long time.

We'd like to thank everyone that came out to see us, your support and love does not go unnoticed. Thank You
